Honesty is The Best Policy to Live By

Honesty is built upon the principles of God. It is the foundation of truth that will stand.
History show that lies destroy: Those who practice such behavior, never gains anything of value from the evil they causes.

A life Story:  Woman misled husband in thinking she was paying their debts with the money he gave her.
Scene: This woman has a gambling habit. She has been postponing paying the family debts, and lying to the creditors while using the money instead, to support her gambling habit.  Her husband thinks his wife is paying their creditors, until he gets some disturbing news while at work.  He learns from the sheriff who has contacted him with very bad news:  There is an emergency at his home. He needs to come home immediately.  He discovers he is being evicted from his home due to lack of several payments behind on his mortgage, his wife left him a suicide note. She is dead.  And he is left with two elementary school children to care for and find a place for them to live. His banking account has a few hundreds of dollars in it. After going through his paperwork that his wife handled, he found out about her gambling habit, and the checks she had written to support her habit, rather than paying their debts.

Liars that believe they are too smart to get caught in their plots to commit wrongful acts, and get away without suffering the consequences, are not smart enough to avoid the cost.

A life Story:  A couple sale their property and lies to the church regarding the amount of money they sold it for, so they could keep more money from the sale. The Man Of God knew this couple had sold their property for more money than they said they had. Death is the cost for lying.
Scene: According to this event as written:  Ananias, took the money that he and his wife Sapphira had agreed to give to the church for the sale of their land, and placed it at the apostles feet; Peter said to Ananias, Why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.  And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: And great fear came on all them that heard those things.
And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out and buried him.

And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord?  Behold the feet of them which have buried thy husband are in the door, and shall carry thee out.
Then fell she down straightway at his feet and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in and found her dead; and carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

All lies are a serious offense. God condemn lying in every form. Wisdom is used when a life can be saved, by withholding the truth. God forgive.
